雪胎的作用到底有多大呢?

本人在过去的两个冬天，加这个冬天，车上装了雪胎。以前，用的都是四季胎（每套用四、五年），也都过来了。

不过，实事求是讲，用雪胎还是必要的。

对于前驱和4驱来说，雪抬就是看着用的。可能增加点安全指数。。 但是后驱来说。没雪胎的时候和有雪抬是天壤之别，我是深有体会的。没雪胎的时候。我家门口的那个小坡都的让人推才上的驱，换了雪胎后，现在开到哪里都很EASY。

您说的是相对指数。同意，雪胎对后驱动的车来说，作用最大。

后驱、前驱和4驱三种车都开过。雪胎无疑还是有好处的。否则，魁省不会强制性要求冬季用雪胎了。

从安全角度来说，即便装了雪胎，忘记他们，仍按装四季胎来开，安全系数就更高点。

Had experience on snow tires in Vancouver when there was heavy snow, and no snow plow trucks. Snow tires does not work well. Waste of money for sure. I had two SUV both only front wheel drive. Both brand new rental cars with less than 5000kms, both with very recent tires. The one with snow tires does not perform any better than the one with four-season tires. However, four wheel drive does work exceptionally. Adds a lot of traction when going up and down hills. Even with snow tires, front wheel drive car can not drive up the mountain road in Vancouver.

Winter almost passed, and you guys are still discussing the benefits from snow tires? I agree they don't do any good if used in summer seasons.

多亏没有把雪胎换下来。

低温、冰雪路面上雪胎的牵引和刹车性能要比四季胎好，这是肯定的。好多少？个人感觉总体来说，25% - 30%比较客观。
雪胎不仅花纹深抓地性好而且低温时不容易变硬，那个雪靴和高跟鞋的比较很形象，虽然有些夸张。
渥太华市政府清雪工作做得很好，用花纹深些的四季胎问题不大，但是要改变驾驶习惯，像夏天那样开是绝对不行的，即使你的车装的是新雪胎也不行。
春天快到了，到时记得要把雪胎换下来，冬天用四季胎问题不大；夏天用雪胎可就有问题了，雪胎在温度高时磨损很快而且噪音大还废油。
