well, i heard that some places do ask for your old chinese passports.

according to 'rumors' this was because some FLG people change their names after having new citizenships and applied chinese visas using the new names. And chinese govt wanted to prevent that so now they ask for your old chinese passports and not only the ones showing your names are 'peter xxx' or 'david yyy'
