Thank you for the links. After I read those postings, I should say I feel lucky with my Malibu. I bought it five years ago and never had a problem except for replacing the worn tires. But now I have many problems as listed by others, such as A/C 1 and 2 not working (I ignored), slow coolant leaking (I put some small leak filler), calliper and brake oil pipe leak (just fixed at $550 -- should not do it), engine light on all the time, ABS light on especially in cold days (now seems ok again). Now I am thinking if I should spend more money to repair. The only thing I don't want to give up is the tires. The four tires should run at least another two years. If I had not spent $550, I would just trade this in.
