第五届“加京华人杯”乒乓球单打比赛-Registration finished

[FONT=&quot]第五届[/FONT][FONT=&quot]“[/FONT][FONT=&quot]加[/FONT]华[FONT=&quot]杯[/FONT][FONT=&quot]”[/FONT]乒乓球比赛报[FONT=&quot]名截止[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]40多名[/FONT]选手将于5月18日在中华大厦角逐​

[FONT=&quot]第五届[/FONT][FONT=&quot]“[/FONT][FONT=&quot]加[/FONT]华[FONT=&quot]杯[/FONT][FONT=&quot]”[/FONT]乒乓球比赛消息发布以来，得到了[FONT=&quot]广大[/FONT]乒乓球运动爱[FONT=&quot]好者的[/FONT]热[FONT=&quot]烈响[/FONT]应。报[FONT=&quot]名截止[/FONT]时(4月30日)已有40多名选手注册。他们中有上几[FONT=&quot]届[/FONT]比赛的优胜者；有10多岁的青少年，也有年逾古稀的长者；有长年活跃于[FONT=&quot]渥太[/FONT]华乒乓球场的铁杆球迷，也有初来乍到的学生和新手；除华裔外，还有其他族裔的朋友。预计本[FONT=&quot]届比[/FONT]赛将同前几届一样，精彩激烈，绚丽纷呈。

按计划，[FONT=&quot]比[/FONT]赛[FONT=&quot]将於[/FONT][FONT=&quot]2008[/FONT][FONT=&quot]年[/FONT]5[FONT=&quot]月[/FONT][FONT=&quot]18[/FONT][FONT=&quot]日（星期日）上午[/FONT][FONT=&quot]9[/FONT]时[FONT=&quot]在中[/FONT]华[FONT=&quot]大厦，[/FONT][FONT=&quot] 80 Florence Street (Bank street [/FONT][FONT=&quot]以西，[/FONT][FONT=&quot] Gladstone Avenue 以北，与Kent street相交,[/FONT]http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=80+Florence+street,+Ottawa&sll=45.413876,-75.651855&sspn=0.050852,0.075359&ie=UTF8&ll=45.413394,-75.691252&spn=0.012713,0.028667&t=p&z=15&iwloc=addr, )[FONT=&quot] )[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]，[/FONT]举行。[FONT=&quot]第一[/FONT]阶[FONT=&quot]段，小[/FONT]组[FONT=&quot]循[/FONT]环，不分老幼性别，8个组的比赛在5张球台上同时进行；[FONT=&quot]由此[/FONT]产[FONT=&quot]生的前两名[/FONT]进[FONT=&quot]入第二[/FONT]阶[FONT=&quot]段的[/FONT]复赛/决赛。[FONT=&quot]女子[/FONT]组和[FONT=&quot]老年[/FONT]组的比赛将在[FONT=&quot]第二[/FONT]阶[FONT=&quot]段[/FONT]举行。

所有报名的选手，务必于比赛当天8点45分以前到达赛场，登记(交纳注册费), 热身。在比赛时，望大家服从裁判，遵守规则和赛程，文明礼貌，不大声喧哗，保持赛场整洁。组委会祝大家赛出好成绩，渡过一个愉快的时光。

Registration has been completed, with more than 40 players registered.

Tournament will be held as planned. All registered must be at the place, 80 Florence Street, (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=80+Florence+street,+Ottawa&sll=45.413876,-75.651855&sspn=0.050852,0.075359&ie=UTF8&ll=45.413394,-75.691252&spn=0.012713,0.028667&t=p&z=15&iwloc=addr, ),by 8:45 AM on May 18, 2008; and the tournament will start at 9:00 AM.

As for a community event, we would expect all players to respect the referees and opponents, to keep the place tidy and quiet. Players are responsible for their own drinks and lunches. We wish all the players a success and have a wonderful time
