[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I ordered a Canon 5D and lens package from this store (AKA: One Way Photo, and several other names) because of the low price. The store contacted me to "verify" my order and then informed me I was ordering the "plastic-body 5D" and asked if I wanted to upgrade to the magnesium-bodied model (for TWICE the price). ** CANON DOES NOT MAKE A PLASTIC-BODY 5D ** and the "upgrade" was not even competitive with current retail pricing for a USA-model 5D ($200 more the B&H Photo).
Luckily I forgot to give the security code on the back of my card, so they couldn't charge me...otherwise I'd be contacting my CC company to alert fraudulent activity.
Look, nuff said...this place is a Den of Theives. AVOID
