I plant some vegetables in my back yard, the weather is getting cold, I have too much " Qing cai, xiang cai, cong , jiu Cia, Dill " in my garden. I live in country, do not have chance to give our Chinese people, there is no other Chinese around here.

If anyone want fresh vegetables, you can come to my place to pick up yourself.

My place one hour drive from Ottawa, if any Chinese want fresh vegetable and flowers, please let me know, I will open my garden for Chinese weekend self service vegetable pick up.

I have a big compost pit and make my own compost, I have all kind of vegetables, they are too much for me, I would like have other ones to have some fresh, organic vegetables.

因为加拿大纬度太高，夏季光照太长，所以油菜很容易开花，春天就已经不能种了，而秋天日照时间越来越短，我爸爸一般都是现在开始种油菜（或者再早一两个星期），天冷下来之前，还能吃到一茬。如果您时间多，也可以用遮盖的办法减少日照，让它不开花。葫芦可以吃啊，不过不能养得太老，你肯定是北方人了，南方人都吃的，大概下部直径12cm以上就可以吃了，切丝炒炒很是鲜美，放点虾皮，就更好吃了。而且如果你不把老的摘掉，新的也不会长很多出来。

渥太华最容易种的就是豆角了，产量高，种植方便，不用育苗。还有节瓜，一种象冬瓜一样的瓜，也是大家广为种植的。我爸爸每年都在新华中文学校卖苗的，5月的时候可以去那里和他交流一下。9月开学了也在的，找卖包子的摊位就可以了。
