请教：公民申请材料寄出去后多长时间能收到回信

已经寄出去一个半月了，没一点消息。 申请材料寄的是平信，不知是不是寄丢了，大家的申请材料寄出去后大概多长时间收到的回复。

I mailed at the end of June and got the letter at the beginning of Sep. also in regular mail. You can call them for further information if you are worried.

感谢各位的回复，CIC网站显示他们收到我们的申请信后从Review到回复需要两个月,我十月中旬寄的，看来还得耐心等。
