我家草坪到处是黄花,咋办呀?

我家草坪到处是黄花,还有weeds,咋办呀?
奇怪的是邻居的草坪却干干净净.
我买了杀weeds的毒药,喷的几处,结果那几块现在变的黄黄的, 很难看. 问题是现在小黄花到处都是,我总不能把整个草坪都喷一遍吧.我该怎么办?

Root them out, one by one and day by day. It would be a regular, permanent, full-time job.

By the way, there is something made from corn can do the job for you. I saw that in the gardening centre at a Walmart store.

Also, that use fertilizer and water your lawn as needed will also help.

Yes. You need 把整个草坪都喷一遍 weed control fertilizer. You may no need use strong 喷杀 weeds 的毒药, you can just use weed control fertilizer. I do it every year and it is working without damage the lawn.

what are you using round-up or Killex . Round-up would kill everything. Killex would only kill weeds.
1) mow the lawn often, mow it before it able to flower and seeding. Weed don't take mowing very well, they would die.
2) spray killex.

You sure Killex is still on the market? After the law to ban the non-environmental Herbicide, I don't see them existed on the shelf of CT, etc.

我就是这样做滴，结果这周又想吃的时候，在院子里一棵都没找到。 真恨不能把草坪全部挖掉种上这种“野草”，要不是怕邻居恨我。嘿嘿。

I know somebody eat it. I may try it this year. If it tastes good. I think I could plant it in my vegetable garden. Just collect some seeds and plant it there. It should be very easy to grow. It is a try cut and return vegetable. If leave the roots only cut the leaf it should last for whole season.

My neighbour told me now there's a an new weed control organic product called corn gluten. Check this out:
TurfMaize Weed Seed Germination Inhibitor with corn gluten

It's safe for childrend and pet. Ottawa Citizen had a report on it.

You should find it from Cosco.

It is a Germination Inhibitor, it would prevent weed for seeding but if weed already there it wouldn't work. Now may be little late for may weeds like dandelion.
And it would inhibitor grass seeds too. You can't use it if you seed you lawn.

I still saw killex in Canadian Tire an walmart. So you still can buy them.
