关于自己建房的问题

想在市区买个老房子然后推倒重建。请问是否可行？有谁知道具体步骤 或那里能查到？

That's going to be very pricy, but if you can afford, the rest is a bit easier. Just like Saint88 said, you need building permit from the city. Find a builder/contractor, you have to do lot of work, like picking where to buy materials, supervision, etc..etc....

there are several steps, consulting city hall info and contractor even lawyer before action. in general, couple things need city permit, city buliding permit, drawing design etc, contractor differentiate a lot to either ease or less cost your work, usually people subcontract to one professional contractor and focus on dealing with less possible problems, but its costy. Anyway, good luck.

I provide the professional architectural service. For residential building not more than three stories, you could hire house designer with BCIN number to help you get permit and process going. Or you could integrate that with the construction and hand it over to contractor. But contractor's design is limited.
