I've booked tee-off time of 11:45am for a 4-some game this coming Saturday (Aug 29) at Canadian (the other time available will be after 3).
The greenfee+power cart(with GPS I assume) will be approx. $40 plus applicable tax after 2-for-1 coupons.

It should be a fun game. I hope the weather will cooperate.

BTW, the access to Canadian has changed this summer due to construction. See link here for direction Ottawa Golf Course: Canadian Golf and Country Club [Directions].

Here's the course regulations:

Regulations

DRESS CODE POLICY-​

• We ask that you respect the honour of the the game of Golf when it comes to dressing for your game.
• Golf Shirts, or mock neck shirts are suggested.
• Bermuda style shorts are recommended .
• Denim shorts or jeans are permitted on the the golf course. We ask that they have no holes.
• Gym shorts, cut-offs, T-shirts ,tank tops and short shorts are for the beach, not the golf course.

-SOFT SPIKE POLICY-

• Metal spikes are not permitted on the property
• Conforming non-metal spike golf shoes are suggested.
• Running or other flat soled type shoes are acceptable but may not offer enough traction.
• Should shoes require spikes to be changed, Golf Shop staff can perform this service at a cost

-FOOD/BEVERAGE-

• It is against the Law to bring any alcoholic beveages on the golf course property, we ask that you respect this Law. We have beverage carts on the course.
• For health reasons we ask that no food be brought on to golf club property with out prior consent from our Event Department.

-PACE OF PLAY-
The Candian Golf & Country Club works very hard to ensure proper pace of play. We expect golfers to play 9 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes and 18 holes in 4 hrs and 20 minutes OR FASTER. This is roughly 14 minutes per hole. Your place on the golf course is directly behind the group in front NOT Directly in front of the group behind. Golfers that cannot keep pace will be asked to move ahead on the golf course

The green fee is $42.5/2 (2-for-1) plus $16 GPS-powercart (per person) -----> $37.25 + applicable tax. This is based on the rate listed on the website Ottawa Golf Course: Canadian Golf and Country Club [Golf Fees].

BTW, the current forecast for Saturday is not promising but I suppose short of heavy downpour or thunderstorm, it's a "go" for us rain or shine.

I don't know if you have a contact number for tomorrow. I did say "rain or shine" earlier. Personally I don't mind of playing in the rain. Still, if the forecast is accurate which I hope not, 5-10 mm of rain overnight plus another 10 mm tomorow morning might be too much for a fun game. So, in case of heavy rain persisting in the morning, I'd like to do a final round of calls around 10:00 just to ensure that nobody will go there for nothing.

Otherwise, you may want to check the thread here around 10:00 tomorrow morning for any last minute update.
