课程： Presentation Skills
This 5 session course will provide the student with an overview of communications within Canada’s multicultural business environment. Topics include communications theory, public speaking, delivering presentations, writing effective emails, and small talk, networking and job interview techniques. Content is delivered through a combination of theoretical frameworks that students can use, and hands on exercises to develop practical experience. Business cases will be used later in the program to help develop an understanding of how to present technical information in managerial and business terms. Students will be expected to prepare and deliver short presentations and conduct mock interviews.

As an experienced technology professional, Kelly has worked in the telecommunications industry for almost 10 years as manager, senior marketing and Executive Briefing Specialist. He has managed, presented and demonstrated a variety of products and solutions to over 170 Nortel customers influencing over $150 million dollars in sales. Kelly has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Cornell-Queen’s MBA class of 2010. Being an avid public speaker, Kelly is a distinguished Toastmaster and has trained several hundred people in communications and presentation skills.
