我已经从 ottawatiresdirect.com 订了一套，包括tire & rim。已经通知我去取了。等我拿到货了再和你分享一下经历。那里的价格全套下来比到tirerack 折腾一趟要便宜一点，据说他们也是按照加国人到tirerack 订货的花费来定价的。

你好，网上购买雪胎 ，比较好的就是tirerack 和 1010tires 了，我这几年买的几套雪胎都是从1010tires买的，从温哥华运货，运费大概50到60刀，运到ottawa，只有一个税，具体可以去网站上操作，tirerack是我很多年前就想买胎的网站，是个非常便宜的地方，但现在只是去参考每个胎的评价，因为从美国进口tire，根据海关规定，政府要收取更多的duty，再加上tax，我算过，大概要多收取34%的费用（根据不同的tires），就没有1010tires合适了，而且我节省了大概600元，和当地的tire store比较，，，，，，当然，如果愿意开车去states pick up，也是个很好的选择，如果顺路玩一下的话，要不加上邮费和辛劳，自己考虑好了，good luck～～～

我去他们在Scott街上的pick up store去看了一眼，又小又破，一个英语极烂的象是印度或中东地方模样的人接待的，整个印象都比较差，所以尽管他们的deal非常诱人，至今也没敢订上一套。这里有和他们打过交道的吗？

For my case(I need 4 18" wheels and tires), tirerack is still cheaper than any canadian site(1010tires cost almost $2000 before tax -- include shipping fee, tirerack cost US$1100 before duty and tax + US$70 for duty + US$240 shipping to canada or US$110 shipping to the border + tax). there would be $300 -- $500 save, if I get them from tirerack.

这是我从tirerack上面用美国地址根加拿大地址分别checkout时的价格，现在如果我自己开过去的话，573+gst+pst+duty+province tire fee= 685 再加上汽油费40，也就730，我直接在美国那边装胎的话，大概是18块钱一个胎，应该也比加拿大便宜吧。
就是不知道还有没有其它的隐藏费用

用1010tires before tax就1000多了，我就不敢往下看了

从那个网站订的package，如果从tirerack买相同的tire和wheel，价格是这样的：

4 tire: $392.00

4 wheel: $436 (alloy)

shiiping fee: $209.22 (to Ottawa)

Excise Tax: $0.00

Grand Total (USD): $1,280.59

如果信用卡公司按1:1.09兑换加币，那么最后价格应该是：
$1,280.59 x 1.09 = $1395.84(CAD)

如果ship到美国，那么可以省去： ($209.22 x 1.13 + 30) x 1.09 = $290.4(CAD)
如果来回汽油费按40$计算，最后成本是： $1395.84 - 290.4 + 40 = $1145.44

而我在那个网站订的package税后价格是： $1354.87 CAD, 他们有$80 mail in rebate。所以最后成本是： $1274.87, 相比去美国跑一趟，多花了 $1274.87 - $1145.44 = $129.43， 没省很多，所以最后我选择不折腾了。 如果从1010tire订相同的package，光4个tire税前就已经$700多了，我就没再往下看了。下周我去取胎，回来再补充一下信息。

他妈的研究了几天,才想到一个问题,致命的问题,我是租的房子(欧式风格,没阳台,每locker),奶奶的没有地方放换下来的轮胎了,白白浪费了时间精力.呵呵,前两天感冒,病糊涂了.
不过二位的信息还是很有用，明年再换

I just picked up winter tire package from Ogdensburg ( I purchased from Tirerack ), it was smoother than I thought, I spent 2 hours round-trip from kanata, $10 for gas(I drove my small car for picking up), $6 for crossing bridge($3 one way) and US$25 for ups( I had five packages), on border I did pay duty+gst+pst close to $200(if I asked tirerack send to home, I would pay US$ 177 for tax + US$70 for duty + US$23 for Provincial Tire Fee + US$30 for Brokerage Fee + shipping fee US$150 more)...
As nowhere001 said, http://www.ottawatiresdirect.com/ have good price for tire and rim package, they have subset of tirerack choices, I guess that they are getting group price or distribution price from tirerack and they set up the sale price little cheaper than tirerack send to canadian address, but more expensive than you pick them up at border. Anyway if I only buy winter tire package( I did buy something else from US) and they have my selection, I would get tires from them instead of getting from US, because it only save up to $200.

How did you ask tirerack to ship the tires to UPS in Ogdensburg? You just put in the address for UPS in Ogdensburg when you order the tires? Do you need to rent a mailbox in UPS to have tirerack ship the tires to the UPS store?

you don't need mailbox, just set the ups address as shipping address with your name and your telephone. you need one photo ID for picking up(but I wasn't asked to show my ID when I pick my stuff).

tire是“DUNLOP SP WINTER SPORT 3D”， rim是“RIAL SALERNO ALLOY WHEELS”， 价格前面一个帖子已经说过了，最后连上environmental fee，all in 全下来是$1381。
