Green Bin每年68大洋，童叟无欺，不知还有谁认为这个省钱呢？

有没有什么办法可以把那个味道盖过去，总不能冬天的时候把那个垃圾箱放房子外头污染邻居吧

其实冬天扔外面真的不是味的问题，咱村冬天什么温度啊，还能变味？要是食物不沥干水分就扔桶里，那问题确实大了。

不要也不行，除非你自己另买一个。Ottawa准备招5个compost police, 专职检查居民的垃圾袋。如果将应该放GreenBin的东西放到垃圾袋的话，就会被开罚单。

我不认为你不用绿盒子会被罚款。
是否参与在个人，满大街垃圾箱，还是有人随处扔垃圾，满处的回收箱，还是很多人把垃圾混放在各个盒子里。
我们公司的清洁工，把收去的员工平时各类回收的垃圾混在一起都倒普通垃圾里，您见了怎么想？－－－我觉得这最领人恶心！

I don't reject the recycle program (collect bottle and paper) right now. But the idea of the green bin usage, I totally against. How can we handle those watery/ messy garbage without a bag, then directly thow it into the green bin, then it will be icy in winter, smelly in summer. And we have to wash the little bin (gray attached) every day. I believe I would feel so inconvenient and dirty as long as we start to use the green bin. Who likes to spend time to manipulate those disgusting garbage. When I think about this, I lost my appetite. we'll see.

Does anyone see the white bugs in the garbage bin in summer? I use big garbage bags every 3 days to prevent the smell and bugs in summer. The city only collect garbage in the green bin once a week which means there will be bugs in the bin. We have to wash the bugs from the bin after they empty the bins. Disgusting.

去哪里投诉啊？不知道投诉后能不能取消，唉~希望不大，哪里都是小老百姓吃亏倒霉

如果有工夫去的话，10号那天Ottawa City Hall有个相关的meeting，可以去听而且发表意见；要么就上ottawa city的网站, 直接写信给市长Larry.OBrien@ottawa.ca

如果反对的人多的话，市政府应该会考虑的。。。希望吧。。。

That green bin program will add more house chore to us. And it would be disgusting. Can you imagine putting garbage in a bin without bag? It would be smelly if we don't wash the bin every week? Where can we wash the bin? We cannot use the hose in winter and would be icy? What a disgusting program? And now they asked to pay for that? I've kicked the green bin many times since the city dropped it to my house. Recycle bins are fine to me.

Don't worry too much about this. There will be some kind of paper bags/liners for residents to use in the green bin.
For sure we are going to pay for these bags. Hope they are not expensive.

现在CONDO的地税厉害，CONDO FEE也厉害。我们家人的一个CONDO， 约30年的楼年，west end, 750平方尺，地税涨到超过2800，CONDO FEE 300多每月。

真的假的?~我以前的CONDO 860 SQ FEET左右在PRINCE OF WALES那里差不多30多年

一年1000多的地税 350的CONDO FEE~

因为自己家今年开始得堆肥，俺也是才明白了些这方面的小常识：

不管混扔还是分类扔垃圾，垃圾里面有水都是于人于己都无益的。而且，这些水分多是从食品垃圾里带进去的。倾倒食物垃圾的时候，沥干水分，－－沥掉菜汤再倒就会省很多后续的麻烦。
另外，在暖季，丢食物垃圾进垃圾箱后及时盖盖，不给蚊蝇产卵的机会，也是预防措施，如果发现了寄生虫，有些可以喷或者撒的制剂可以用，您要是没用过，吱一声。
咱要是卫生措施用到位了，可以避免很多不愉快情形发生。
