Help:谁在CANADIAN TIRE退过Snowblower或同它打官司的经验---刚被这家黑店忽悠了?

I was wondering if you could return at another location??
 
我现在的体会是,如果是小件物品,就换一家店去换吧.大件物品不给换的话就考虑上庭 - 我现在正在考虑这个,应该不是太麻烦 - 和争执引起的不愉快相比. 和CS做过多争执没必要,他们也是打工的.

我是不会再去barrhaven这家店了.其他店也是能免则免.


Not only snow blower. One time we had bought something small, but realized we bought the wrong item, so we went to return it (it's not even opened yet), but they gave us a very very horrible hard time (not to mention their bad attitude). Finally we returned it, but only because we were screaming and sure it caught some customers attention.

My conclusion is if you want to buy anything from CT, make sure you won't return it, or you are 100% sure of the quality (which means you have to be 100% sure of the item would work perfectly after it walked out of the door), otherwise, strongly recommend you to go to another store, even if you have to pay more, it just doesn't worth your time and energy to argue and scream inside the store.

if you want to go to the small claim court (<$5000), you only need to pay $50 for that. if you are lucky that they don't appear at the time, you could get your money back.
 
Looks like the only problem is with this Barrhaven store. I never had any problem with any other CT locations. Even I had opened some packing and slightly used. Maybe try write a letter to CT headquater. It is possible that that Barrhaven store is franchised and the owner set its own policy.

其实也不算太麻烦,关键要用正确的方法,让他们知道你有正确办法,有决心,有信心,有把握能退掉,这几条,你自己知道没用,要让他们明白,那么就不是问题了。
比如说,你交了$75的费用到小额法庭,那么问题就基本上在第二天就解决了:小额法庭是正确方法,交了钱了那是决心和信心以及把握,法庭通知他们,那他们就相信了。
至于到店里胡搅蛮缠,显然是透露给他们一个信息:你根本不知道怎么处理这类事,你没有信心和决心,他们就算当场表态:你说得全对,但是我赖账,你能拿我怎么样?我今天就是不讲理,你怎么着?你也一点辙没有。前两年纽约一家Toyota车行卖车骗一个华人签了19%左右的高息贷款(大概是口头说是1.9%,具体记不清了),那个华人就去举起抗议,结果被报警“用致命武器攻击”差点坐了大牢。中国式的传统手段: 我在你店里恶心你,弄走你的顾客,看你敢不敢这样对我。在中国有用,在这里是没用的。泼妇骂大街的中原手段,不用为好。
“驴大怒,蹄之”的结果就是被对方判断为“技止此耳”。
 
I would think you better return your item before your return period expired. They are probably trying to wait until your return period expired, then they can legally claim that you are not allowed to return it anymore.

Is your snowblower a clearance or final sale merchandise? if so, you may not be able to return it.

店子里的还叫警察,至于吗, 这个经理脑子还不是一般有病。
这种精神病今后大家还是躲着点。

如果是用信用卡买的,先打电话给信用卡公司让他们不要付账给CT
 
CT 店都是连锁店,既然Bar CT 如此态度,你就到其他的CT店去试试。说不定其他的点,就给你退了。

我在Bank和Carling两家都退过无限次货,从来没有过问题,你可以试一下。
 
大件物品是在其它店退不掉的,他们会到原售出店核实,同意后才行,否则他们之间不好结算。
 
我也经常去这家CT的,退换过无数次东西了,从来没有过问题啊!(touch wood)
就前几天,我妈用的一个按压式咖啡壶的盖坏了,用了大概有一个月了吧,包装早扔了。我想大概退不了了吧,我妈说去试试先。拿着recipt去了,马上给退了,我自己都好惊讶。
当然了,咱这咖啡壶没几个钱,和snowblower不能比。
 
退个不值钱的粉笔末(打墨斗的粉),还要到货架上检查重量是否一致,确认顾客是否偷用了两克。
