上庭告状,要捡最有把握的。他们不遵守白纸黑字的"Warranty Sheet“就是最好的证据,真不明白你到底还要什么?
不过你若被店家勒令离开,而没有的话,警察的证词对你将会很不利,不要将中国的那一套刁民式的胡搅蛮缠带到这里,此路不通。一旦发生冲突,警察会给你戴上铐子,并且不准你在以任何借口靠近该店若干距离,那就麻烦大了。商店是店家的领地,他们有权驱逐不受欢迎的人。
你本来要做的是到法庭登记,而不是其它。不过既然你已经接受店家调停,同意将商品留店修理,你的胜诉机会已经很小了。
人必自助而后天助之,你自己都不帮自己,谁还帮得了你?
 
给CT总部customer service打电话complain试试。网站上是总部的承诺,分店可能不乐意执行。

According to this term, I am afraid, you can not return it unless the problem cannot be fixed/seviced.

我又仔细看了看这几个warranty, 我想,一个关键的问题是这个7-day over-the-counter service warranty 是否void了90天return policy
 
这是说明你多个选择而已,并没有排除return policy 也同样apply!

"To return an item for exchange or refund, bring it to any Canadian Tire store within 90 days, in its original condition and packaging, with your receipt and issue of Canadian Tire “Money”®. ".

The key words are 'in its original condition'. If the snowblower was used and it was not functioning, this snowblower is used and it is no longer in 'its original condition' as 'new'. Thus, CT can refuse the return easily if they want to.

Also, 在每一张发票上的, it mentions that "If a product is defective, the manufacturer’s warranty will apply. ".

So, the 90 days return policy is not applied if the product is defective based on the terms written on the back of a receipt.

For a successful lawsuit, there must have a solid evidence. Based on the return policy on the back of the receipt, CT has no responsiblity to accept the return if the product is defective.

你的质保书上的承诺对你更有利一些。咬住这一条“The warranty sheet lists 3 warranty:
1st, Return Policy—it can be returned due to manufacturer’s defect;

是啊。当时也是一念之差。本来也看中了sears的一款。就是觉得功率有点小,没有买。教训啊。

我家其他电器都是sears买的。

本来就想自己铲雪挺好,全当锻炼了。就是嫌铲雪机保养维修麻烦。结果有一次接孩子回家,让门口的snowbank给堵住了。好不容易挖出条道来。孩子在车里有哭又闹,还给冻感冒了。这才想着买台铲雪机。结果,更闹心!

Not only snow blower. One time we had bought something small, but realized we bought the wrong item, so we went to return it (it's not even opened yet), but they gave us a very very horrible hard time (not to mention their bad attitude). Finally we returned it, but only because we were screaming and sure it caught some customers attention.

My conclusion is if you want to buy anything from CT, make sure you won't return it, or you are 100% sure of the quality (which means you have to be 100% sure of the item would work perfectly after it walked out of the door), otherwise, strongly recommend you to go to another store, even if you have to pay more, it just doesn't worth your time and energy to argue and scream inside the store.
 
Forgot to mention, it's also at CT Barrhaven!
