How to work as a consultant in USA?

Does any one know how this going to work?

I am the Canadian living in USA now. a company offer me a consultant work, but they feel the TN Visa is complicated for a consultant.

What's the way to fix it myself?

Am I able to set a company in USA and then apply the work permit (Like TN) using this company.

Anyone have any idea? Thanks a lot!!

If the company really need you. You may work in Canada.
