Larry O'Brian was not qualified to be a mayer 4 yrs ago as he didn't have the minimum, basic managerial skills to chair the council (exercise influence in order to achieve his political goals). Now 4 yrs after, he is actually a much better candidate in terms of managerial skills thanks to his 4 yrs experience in the office. Unfortunately, among the declared candidates, there is one who is much better qualified in this reagard, this time. In terms of character, O'Brian is also a questional candidate based on the fact that he had done some thing not really honorable in last election. However, to my knowledge Jim Watson has never done any thing close that. You don't elect your best friend to be the mayer, but the best candidate.

我对光头市长的政绩没什么印象。
不过对他上台第一件事情就是给自己加薪这件事情记忆犹新。
接下来就是汽车司机要求也加薪，人家说了，你加薪为什么不给我们加，结果没处理好，闹罢工。

Jim Watson 就如同中国多见的那种平庸政客，找不到什么大的毛病、问题，是因为他无所作为。他本科学的新闻学，后来是政府雇员。

He was a Minister in the Cabinet of PremierDalton McGuinty until he resigned in January 2010 to run for mayor in the 2010 Ottawa municipal election.
Watson attended Carleton University and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Journalism and Communications. He entered the federal public service and rose to the position of director of communications for the Speaker of the House of Commons.
