用过Green Bin的，效果怎么样？

本人一次都没用过。

昨天听收音机，说是个非常 stupid idea

不过厨房垃圾如果丢在普通垃圾袋里是可能被罚款的。

不是选择使用，是被迫使用T_T

因为是每2礼拜收一次， 为防止厨房垃圾腐败，专家建议： 冬天放室外自然冰冻， 夏天放冰箱的冰冻室

基本上只放废纸，和YARD GARBAGE， 厨房垃圾如果不冰冻放进去会长蛆的。

我觉得green bin挺好的。家里的普通垃圾少了很多。
如果用那个小的纸袋，封好了，味道也不大的。就是这个小纸袋贵了点，收green bin前一两天我们就用报纸包。

夏天一周收一次，至今没有发生过生蛆的现象。平时要盖紧的，苍蝇就飞不进去了。

We switched to newspaper right after we used up the first package of little bags. For a family like mine, I don't have too much to complain. But I heard it is too small for a regular sized family (2 + 2), especially in winter.

我家四人呢，连我爸妈。没觉得有那么多啊。填不满的。
除非夏天把yard waste也扔进去。冬天没有yard waste，我们是填不满的。没有那么多浪费的粮食。

用flyer或者报纸折成小袋子（多用几张报纸，袋子做厚一点），袋子底部再垫一些flyer吸水，每天家里厨房产生的那些垃圾基本上一个刚刚够装，每天晚上放到greenbin里去。夏天收完垃圾用水龙头冲干净。我觉得不是那么难用，就当支持环保吧。

最好别用报纸，那个油墨不能算是organic。既然要环保，就坚持到底吧。

I use yard waste bag instead. Put a layer of newspaper on the bottom (around half an inch thick) then put the kitchen waste.

And from there I just keep building layers. The newspaper will absorb the moisture form the waste. In the summer, I also spray white vinegar and salt onto the waste to keep files from laying eggs and keep the smell down.
