楼梯换扶手，大约20尺x2，黄页的公司要1300是不是贵呀

Price to remove vinyl cap on steel railing and replace with solid oak colonial
handrail. Handrail will be prefinished in Minwax Golden Oak.--- $1300 tax included.

只换扶手(vinyl上有划痕、破损，必须换)，不换垂直的栏杆，就12级台阶的长度，左右两边，加上2楼一小段围栏，这么贵呀。

这个公司有人用过吗？怎么样？

我的楼梯是直的，但是拐角的地方，特别是楼梯斜栏杆与二楼水平栏杆怎么交接，不太明白，其余的部分，我知道到Home depot 买栏杆可以自己刷漆自己装。

I bought stair parts from them before, the price were much better than others.

Connect to railing to post is simple: you drill a whole on the post deep enough to hide the screw head, and you screw the railing to the post. You then glue a cap to cover the whole, sand it down to the same as the rest post. The difficult part of the job is cut the pieces to the right angles and length. I would say this is not a job for firs-time DIYers.

直的那应该是最简单的情况了，自己动手的可能性最大的情况。
我原来在网上找楼梯栏杆和扶手的时候就看到很多图片，拐角的处理方法很多，比如加根柱子能好转接，是过渡也好看什么的。自己多参照些成品图片根据自己家设计个方案应该比普通handy man做得不差，跟最专业的公司比就肯定不一样了
