Bus Operators
A comprehensive pension and benefit package is included.
Salary: $21.526 per hour

We are currently seeking applications for the challenging positions of Professional Transit Operators. In addition to being positive and service-oriented, the ideal candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Minimum of three years experience in progressively responsible customer service functions.
Minimum of five years of motor vehicle operator experience, in high-density traffic conditions.
Ability to communicate effectively with passengers / co-workers, using tact and discretion combined with reliability and sound judgment.
Thorough knowledge of the City of Ottawa and the Highway Traffic Act (Ontario)
Ability to work shifts; including early morning / late afternoon split shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, statutory and designated holidays.

Candidates selected are required to pass our comprehensive selection process, consisting of several tests, medical examination and a mandatory training program.
