小妹请教：如果教授的research grants缺乏，就少带或不带研究生是吗

research grants会不会因为经济形势不好而受到很大影响。如果教授说他没有FUND，是不是就是说带不了研究生，从而就不能被录取吗。

3 possibilities: 1. he/she will accept you without any grant, that means you have to pay everything yourself. (which most of the time won't happen)
2. he is not accepting you at all.
3. it's just an execuse not accepting you

basically, if he doesn't have money, the Prof won't accept more students.

是不是说如果我以移民身份申请,自己支付学费(因为也不很多),那不管他有没有grant,我都能被录取.

not neccessary, it has nothing to do with your citizenship.

Sometimes, they still accept students even if there is no funding.
As I know, most of the master students in OCIECE enrolled last year
have no funding.
