PC wants a small government....not good news for chinese in ottawa who wants to work for the fed..

I understand that. But I really hate any country with a big government. The consequence of that will be definitely low efficiency, waste and turn people to be lazy. Eventually the country will be dead and hopeless, just like a sick man.
Another reason I hate big government is that in China, we have an old word: 吃人嘴短，拿人手软。If you and your family's life are largely dependent on the government, you really hard to control your own life and raise your own head proudly. I hate my life and life style controlled by politicians or government. That's one of the reasons I came to Canada.

it not you dependent on the gov that make you hard to control your own life, it's you hard to control your life that make dependent on the gov. - we have to be clear what's the cause and what is the effect.


To live in a collective society, we are always 'control' by this or that... if you really want zero control by gov, then welcome to anarchy...but that is probably not what you want either, right?
