I just feel it's a little bit ridiculous when you call yourself "Left"(左派) and 老闹子“Right(右派)”. I just want to say, although economically, you support right wing party's policy, but politically, you actually support dictatorship system, which totally ignore human rights. So, your ideology has never been "left", but an extrem right-wing, dictatorship supportor. And that's the political system currently running now in China, not here in Canada.

Never, call yourself "Left" anymore, you are NOT. Jack Laton is because he is fighting for low income people and root-grass class. Although, I disagree his political idea will work for Canada, but it will perfectly work for China.
Stephen Harper definitely is the best leader right now for Canada and that's why I voted Harper.

中国特色？中国“左”从何而来？100年前，在中国社会，政治或文化上有“左”“右”的概念吗？ 从维基百科中怎么也想不通中共政权或其簇拥者（如这里的“闲得荒”）的立场是“左”。当然，也不明白“老闹子”怎么是“右”。也许，你有高见？

Not at all. Actually, I think left and right have nothing to do with supporting dictatorship or not. But in terms of economy, from what Mr.“闲得荒” has expressed here, he definitely is an Right-Wing, since he supported and voted Conservative's economic policy rather than NDP's policy.
Also, obviously, Mr..“闲得荒”never cares about human right problems in China, so apparently, he is not a Left-Wing.

More clearly, in western world today, both Left and Right respect Human Rights, and regard they are universal values for any humanbeing. However, I find Chinese government refuses to accept the defination of human rights and lots of Chinese people seem support Chinese government on this.
