Because the depth of my pond is just 1.4 metre, the golden fish can survive some years but not always if the winter is too cold. If the depth of pond is more than 1.4 metre, the fish could survive through the winter but you need to fence your pond in terms of By-law.

It is man-made pond. As you can see in the following picture, it is not hard to build it. The important thing is how you design your garden. Good design makes your garden beautiful. Also the selections of flowers and trees play an important role for the garden too. The really hard one for building a pond like mine is where to find the BIG STONE and how to deliver it! The big stone beside my pond costs more than $500.
