Intermediate/ Senior Software and Technology Developer ? Ottawa (Temporary Contract 6 Months)
As a member of the Research and Development team, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development of a world class, state of the art, and one of-a-kind software product. You will participate in all stages of the life cycle of our Linux-based products, which aim at improving the efficiency and the quality of our reverse engineering operations and services. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to evaluate, analyze and assess various production issues and develop potential software, hardware and/or process solutions to address these issues.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with two-plus years of relevant work experience (including participation in large software projects) or a combination of work experience and education.
You have the essential abilities to read and understand patents. Have strong communications capabilities ? listening skills are the most important; be self-motivated to meet target deadlines and have the ability to work with various interdisciplinary groups.
You have experience with software reverse engineering. You posses detailed knowledge of PC Hardware and Firmware including peripherals as well as compilers and debuggers. You demonstrate an understanding of test tools such as data analyzers, Oscilloscopes and hard tracing tools.
