Earlier this week Nintendo announced that they're dropping the price of the newly released Nintendo 3DS from $249.99 to $169.99 starting August 12th. To reward those that have bought it before or are buying it before August 12th, Nintendo simultaneously announced that these Ambassadors would receive 10 NES Virtual Console Games and 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games at no extra charge. The games are pretty good too, including Super Mario Brothers NES, Legend of Zelda NES, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 GBA, Mario Kart: Super Circuit GBA, Metroid Fusion GBA, and WarioWare GBA.
Some readers have since pointed out that you could get the best of both worlds with the lower price and the 20 games if you buy now from a store with a 30-day price protection guarantee and then go back when the price drops for a price adjustment. That works but Costco has just made it even easier. NightRain in the Forums reports that Costco has already dropped the price to $169.99 so you can buy now and just get those 20 bonus games, hassle free. Other members have confirmed it's available at different Costcos but your bet bet is to read the thread and check the Costco store locator.
