This morning s guy from National Home Services knocked my door to replace old water tank, he said only pay 11.95 a month and no installation fee.

Does anyone have this experience? Do I let me do it or not?

$11.95 per month is an amazing deal for hot-water tank rent. Read thru agreement.
Great deal if you can properly close your existing contract and avoid paying double contracts.

My 2 cents：我读过national这家公司的条款，而且也查了一下网站的评论，缺点是你要sign一个15年的contract，如果中途终止合约，会被罚，（看到一个网站写会罚4500刀）如果中途卖房，必须通知下一个买家这个15年合约，如果买家不同意用这个heater到合约终止，尤你来付罚金。

Direct Energy家的heater是我现在用的，缺点是租金贵，但可随时终止rent，没罚金。所以我没有换成national家的，省的卖房时给自己找麻烦。

不过，也不是说national那家不好，如果房子是长住的，要了也挺好。
