How to see the qulity of tiles?

To choose tiles for the kitchen and bath rooms from builder:

Many brands and styles are offered. How to recognize which brand or style with good quality, especially for the kitchen?

Other than the patterns, I really see no difference between expensive and cheaper tiles. Better tiles may have the right sheen or better coloring.
In terms of durability, none whatsoever. My humble opinion.

除了花纹，大小，颜色。。。质量我看也没啥大区别。都是泥巴烧出来的难听点说就是上了漆的砖。室内用又不承重比对砖的要求都底。要说质量我也就是看看表面是否均匀。

是不是选表面比较光滑的容易擦干净?可是会不会太滑?选多大尺寸的为好?

砖有两种不同的材质，常见的是陶砖，不知道中文是不是这么叫，英文叫ceramic tiles。贵一点的才是真正的瓷砖，英文叫porcelain tiles。

除了材质以外，表面的釉子好坏除了影响美观以外，是否防滑，是否容易清洁，差别也是很大的。

不怕不识货，就怕货比货，多看看心里就有数了。

1.重量, 好的瓷砖实沉. 切砖的时候感受最明显.表面的釉子也差别很大.
2.平整, 好的瓷砖整个表面平整, 边角整齐, 铺的时候会感觉到.
3.瓷砖尺寸越大,质量差别越明显.

Thanks for all of your replies. I am afraid of the cracks if accidentally falling pots or big cutting boards on the tiles in kithchen.
