请教新房地下室foundation少了2"

今天Builder告知,因为“some irregularities on the lot for site grade”,地下室的Concrete Foundation高度少了大概两英寸(2"-3"). 有谁知道这个是否合乎规定,记得有个渥太华市政府的电话,谁手边有。
 
减两寸看看是不是BASEMENT还是FULL HEIGHT BASEMENT。。我印象高度最低应该是7尺8寸,你再查查。

房子地基挖了吗?没挖建议他们往下多挖两寸。。

是foundation Wall少了两寸。他们说应该是8',现在是7'10". 所以地下室里的空间就少了两寸。另外,地下室里面的空间高度 = Foundation Wall (8') + Sill (1.5") - Concrete Slab (3") = 94.5", 现在只有92.5". 有没有人知道这个是不是在允许的误差范围之内,哪里有这方面的规定可以查询。

2 100 mm over at least 75 per cent of the basement area except that under beams and ducts the clearance is permitted to be reduced to 1 950 mm

2100 is approximately 83".
 
你这个是说FINISHED BASEMENT的房顶距地面至少要83寸。。

FINISH的过程中还要考虑DRYWALL的厚度;BEAM;SUB-FLOOR,FLOOR的厚度。。
 
我又琢磨了一个OPTION,LZ可以让BUILDER升一尺高度(如果可以),然后PAY10寸的钱。。反正是谈判,把你的OPTION摆出来。。。

刚刚做了BASEMENT,一寸高度一寸金。。。
 
买了房,就基本都是builder说了算了。。
我不懂建筑标准,只是猜测:builder能这样做,是不是就是在标准之内?

我家也是买房买了一片无奈~只希望以后就没啥让我吃惊的东西了~~~

If you wish to review the permit drawings, they are available for review through the view and release process.

这个没怎么看懂,是不是说如果请市政府的人给Review一下,就能确定是不是建筑商的过错?这个review到底要花多少钱,也没有看懂。汗。

Before your closing date, your are not the home owner of the property. It won't help. The builder still have the lot under their name.
Building Code only regulates the min. ceiling height. Your case is in grey area.

这个没怎么看懂,是不是说如果请市政府的人给Review一下,就能确定是不是建筑商的过错?这个review到底要花多少钱,也没有看懂。汗。
