September 29, 2011
With winter just ahead, thoughts turn to snow, slush and mud.
When it comes to dealing with the road hazards of the cold and wet, few vehicles deal with Mother Nature as well as trucks and SUVs.
Last year many Americans suffered one of the worst winters on record, giving Edmunds.com more reason than ever to focus on these vehicles in their recent September Deals of the Month(http://www.edmunds.com/about/press/...t-trucks-and-suvs-ahead-of-winter-months.html).
Taking a look at the incentives automakers are offering, some of the best deals are on the biggest vehicles.
Dodge is putting $4,500 worth of cash on the hood of the 2011 Dakota pickup while Nissan is nearly matching that number with $4,250 on the 2011 Titan.
If you want financing instead of cash, 0% APR deals are available on the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and Suzuki Equator.
Similar 0% deals are available on the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2011 Jeep Wrangler and 2011 Mazda CX-7.
If you are looking for a luxury brand, the 2011 Acura RDX can be had on a "zero down" lease starting at $430 per month.
Mercedes-Benz is even in the game, starting off it’s 2012 GLK model with a 1.9% financing deal.
If you're shopping for a new truck or SUV, you're in luck. They're not selling as well as manufacturers hoped and as we close the year, the deals should get even better.
希望加拿大和美国接轨。
