Research In Motion to Offer Customers $100+ Worth of Apps for Free Starting October 1

The recent service outages for BlackBerry phones have been resolved, and as good will gesture, RIM will be offering customers premium applications for free. The offer goes live on Wednesday, October 19 and will be available for 4 weeks until December 31, 2011. RIM's press release lists 12 apps, but also mentions that there are more to come. Here's the list so far:

RIM is also offering enterprise customers a free month of technical support.
