正常情况下，不是各个方向红灯闪烁。

楼主是耍小聪明。

Apparently I wasn't the only one. Two cars before me did the same thing.
Merivale / Withrow Ave.
The light failed to turn green. What would you do?
I was surprised those two cars ran red light, then I realized what happened but apparently it took much longer for the cars behind me to realize.
I looked at the traffic light infront of me and also left and right traffic light. Light in all directions were red longer that usual, can't you tell the light was broken? I guess some cars looked both ways.some just looked what's in front of them.

我觉得：楼主不应该认为跟随其他闯红灯的车辆自己就做对了，更不应该以此认为其他等候的司机是“反应/应变能力真慢”。

这里大多数人是习惯了遵守规则的...

楼主不是故意闯红灯。当时的情况特殊，估计应该按照4 ways stop sign停、行。

视代价而违章的做法不对吧？
负责任的成年人应该按照社会行为准则做事....

明明是交通灯正常工作，不是四个红灯闪烁。

从costco开车到baseline几乎用了一个小时。

我开始以为是不是有事故啥的。过了杨明楼的时候，看到有一辆车闯红灯。轮到我的时候还是红灯，一看left and right 的灯也是红的，那边也没车等，我就开过去了，前面一路都是空的。一段距离了，我后面一看，靠，没人跟着我，后面的都还在乖乖的等。可能还要N久他们才反应过来？

我说警察和维护交通的人都那去了？就没人告示和指挥一下。晕。。

碰到过永远红灯的情况，肯定是交通灯出故障，在其他方向没有车的情况下，绝大多数人只能闯红灯了

我是看楼主描述当时的情况后判断的。他说路口的灯全是红的...

碰到过永远红灯的情况，肯定是交通灯出故障，在其他方向没有车的情况下，绝大多数人只能闯红灯了

或许有些人能飞过去

通常要等好长时间才敢确定真的是坏了。但是一路塞车但没有事故，前面还好长一段路都是空的，那么毫无疑问，就是交通灯问题。所以就可以不用等那么久就能确定了。

哈哈，转180度就够看后面了。再转180度不如转回原位容易……
