一个至少这次华裔不该投保守党的最大理由

保守党上台后推行的反中国的外交政策实际上对华裔整体的负面影响（软性的）其实是不容估量的。过分强调意识形态的不同，实在是很过时和愚蠢的做法，这种所谓的理念，我没看到它给加拿大带来了任何益处，很大的可能是损人不利己，同时还只会加深多数非华裔将华裔的歧见。如扑风捉影的中国间谍一说就是一例，大家都知道先入为主的道理，先给你抹了黑，再怎么擦能擦净吗？一个堂堂正正的人，无端得到的却是他人的抹黑或曲解，这种尊严的损失又该如何修补或补偿呢？

没有人不想改善国家和个人的经济状况，然而，在保守党的治国表现也没有太多可圈可点的情况下，华裔们还要付出人的尊严为代价，是否还值得呢？

不过即使实在是没有你中意的候选人，大家还是应该出门投票，就权且在矮子当中挑个高的吧。至少政客们还能听到你的声响！

支持。这次要反对保守党。
保守党的执政能力不一定比自由党差，对藏独台独的支持也不是问题，自由党也做的差不多。但是在意识形态方面是真的和华裔有矛盾。
所谓保守，包括对中国的保守看法：中国于１９５０年左右侵入西藏，中国是gcd 独裁专政，红色中国很多时候用来和稀特勒的德国对比。绝大多数加国人是这样教育大的，虽然他们非常和气，但是保守的加国人是不欢迎你和他在这类话题上辩论的。千名间谍的新闻一发，华裔在有关中国的话题只有沉默，否则，立刻就有人跳出来说你是间谍，或者客气些，要你滚回中国去。这类人现在说你是间谍可是有根据的。
就算你全面支持政府对华政策，作为移民，难道在中国没有亲戚？来来往往的仍然有间谍嫌疑，间谍脸上又不写字。
我有保留的赞成政府对台独藏独以及flg的支持，但是加国华人必须有反对政府这类政策的权力以及机会。现在写篇不符合主流的东西给报社发发看，能发表吗？

Couldn't agree more.
The election is not a hate and lover affair.
Every one has the right to express his/her own opinion and every one should be polite when debating.
All after all, if you don't vote, your voice won't be heard.

I am going to vote for NDP. Trying to balance the other two big parties.
To be honest, I like Liberal more than Conservatives. This is material world. We all know China is a big cake on the market. The Harpers focus on how Chinese government runs in stead of the benefits he can get for Canadians. I hope they can spend less time on blaming other countries human right, and more time on how to keep Canadian economic strong for a long time.

I welcome tax cut. But, cutting taxes is a short-term strategy and won't be able to last if the government can not get more money to keep the balance. I am really interest in the long-term strategy of conservatives to keep the balance.

The words of previous discussion of Conservatives are pale and empty. That's the expressions I got for the Harpers. It's personal view. I don't mind to chnage my view because I am not advocate to one party. But, I need explanation I can accept to change my view, Conservatives, not the reason you can accept.

分散选票不是一个好策略。先应该支持自由党，把保守党赶下台，然后再说。

I come across a post from other thread and I believe this thread is the right place for it (Sorry:blowzy:, GeorgeSong).

GeorgeSong talked about some interesting stuff, so I'd like to put some comments on it.

"选举就象投资" ? Couldn't get it fully.

"每个人的自身情况不同，选谁都无可指责。" Again a solid fact, agree.

"我支持自由党 因为虽然从短期看我会得到一些利益从保守党，但是从长期看我觉得我会得到更多利益从自由党。" No facts, no details, so no comments.

"此外如果我是个大富翁，可能更趋向于保守党；如果我是个穷光蛋，可能更趋向于NDP. " This one only covered a small portion of fact.

In fact most of mid working class families and above including 大富翁 and businesses have already got benefits from Tory's taxes deductions. And NDP not only care about 穷光蛋(homeless?), they also care about low income families, long term disabilities, single mothers and aging population...
So it's really a taxes (taking money from your pockets and how big portion you feel comfortable to be taken) and spendings (spending on whom and how efficient it will be spent ...) issue for most people and they will vote according to their own situation.
