New Democratic MP Pat Martin told CTV News that Dion may encounter a lack of trust on some international issues.

"What if there is a trade dispute between France and Canada? Would he have to recuse himself?" Martin asked.

But　Dion has so far suggested he will keep his French citizenship.

Even some Liberal MPs thought Dion should reconsider his stance.

"I would think that would be something that would probably have to happen - to give up this dual citizenship," said Paul Szabo.

You are correct. But what Tommy Douglas did was only for the province of Saskatchewan, while Pearson did it at the national level.

Tommy Douglas was Premier of Saskatchewan from 1944 to 1961. Under his leadership, Saskatchewan was the first province to adopt a universal medicare system in Canada. In 2004, Douglas was voted number one in CBC's The Greatest Canadian contest.

区别是，John Turner持有英国国籍，DION持有法国国籍。加拿大现在的最高领导，是英国女王，而不是法国总统。

Dion 骨子里是法裔人。他主要是为法裔的利益来办事的。

他不主张魁独，是因为他觉得不独，法裔日子过的更好。but, how about the rest of us?
