The forecast for 29 and 30 is pretty good as I just checked.
I may try two outings from three possible days on 26, 29 and 30 at Mont Cascades.

condition report:

Dec 23, boots on @ 6:00pm(cascade), temp -5c, flurry(10~15cm). Powder like condition... 4 hours continous skiing till close...

Dec 27, slept in, boot on @ 2:00pm(cascade), temp -3c, raining/freezing rain. condition terrible, however all lifts are open, ex is also open... ice skiing... 1 hour of ski and 1 hour of beer... hill closed at 4:00pm...

Next trip, Dec 30 night(cascade)... see you there dayin&dayout...

Dec 30 condition report:

Day time report: (from one member of the chinese ski club who ski @ cascade for the past 4 days)

"I do 4 days in a row (today+ tomorrow)! Today is the best so far, FANTASTIC! although kind of windy but not on the slope of the north..."

Night time report: we arrived @6:15pm, saw many oriental faces in the main lodge, looks like people are starting to use their season passes now...
Three lifts are open, mini, quad and CT. We skiied under quad on the north side... we found the condition icy... maybe all the wind during the day had blow the snow away...
nevertheless we did 3 hours ski practice on ice...

Next night trip: Friday Jan 2, meeting @ main lodge @ 6:30pm
next day trip: Sat Jan 3, with the big chinese group...
