There are various factors to consider when finding cheapest way to learn driving
1. Do you have driving experience
2. Do you have good driving skill and safe
3. Do you have budget to buy car now
4. Do you observe others when they are driving, and know exactly their action
5. Do you observe all sign board on the road, and know everyone of them
6. Do you have someone who have 4 years experience point in their driving license (I use this criteria as there is a little complication on recognision of international driving license by country) to accompany you
7. Do you willing to accept point reduction when catch by dring without a accompany of 4 year experience point driver
8. Do you willing to take full responsibility when hurt people
9. Do you have quick learning skill
10. Do you familiar with car's mechanic, and its basic operation
11. Do you have time to return to your own country and learn there, if it is cheaper
12. Are you a fast learner
Following are some solutions base on above considerations:
1. Buy car, and driving together with someone with experience. Prefer someone who have very safe driving skill
2. Buy car, and drive with someone with very good safe driving skill
3. Rent car, and drive together with skillful person for 10 hr a day
4. Used someone's car, and compensate for the gas, and maintenance (tire, engine oil, coolant, brake pad)
5. Learn from teacher, and combine with above
It may sound too much to buy car as G1, but if you looking to buy car, and can afford it now, then it is buy earlier and enjoy the benefit immediate.
Borrow car from someone is certainly the cheapest. Combine that with someone with 4 yr safe driving experience, that is the cheapest. Make sure you willing to pay for all repair when get into accident. That will be normally $2,000+ repair.
Finance or lease a car is not something I will recommend. Get an old and good condition car will be more practical.
If you really like new car, and can afford the repair, and everything, then no argue with new car as well
