关于申办驾照和买二手车，请求帮助

不好意思，hdk1112其它的都对，但是有个很关键的错误，不指出怕不行：

这个公证/翻译过的驾照，只能使90天。

谢谢你的指出，不过“三个月时间”那是移民的限制，“留学生”可以使用一年。而且朋友的车由于别的情况在一年内被警察差了三次，公证的驾照没有一点问题。

The period a foreign student, cooperant, trainee or temporary worker is authorized to drive without a Québec driver's licence is determined on the basis of the expiry date of any one of the following documents:

• visitor's visa to Canada (lawful permission to remain in Canada);
• driver's licence issued by another country;
• International Driving Permit:
  • it is a translation of the driver's licence issued by your country of origin;
  • it is not mandatory during the first 6 months of driving in Québec, but is strongly recommended, particularly if the driver's licence issued by your country of origin is in a language other than French or English;
  • after a period of 6 months, it must always be kept with the driver's licence issued by your country of origin;
  • to obtain an International Driving Permit, you must file an application in the country that issued your driver's licence, before leaving your country. You cannot apply for an International Driving Permit in another country.

New Residents of Québec and Holders of a Driver's Licence Issued Outside Québec

You need a licence to drive on Québec roads. The SAAQ applies precise rules in issuing a Québec driver's licence or exchanging a driver's licence issued outside Québec. People who are not permanently established as residents in Québec may drive, under certain conditions.

Important: If you are from outside Canada and you have settled in Québec, you have 12 months following your arrival in Canada to apply for a licence exchange for a Québec licence, regardless of whether you are required to take a driving test.

To get a Québec driver's licence or to exchange a driver's licence issued elsewhere for a Québec licence, the first step is to contact the SAAQ by telephone to make an appointment. You cannot make an appointment over the Internet.

In order to determine your status, the clerk on the phone will ask you which documents you have in your possession (birth certificate, Permanent Resident Card, passport, etc.). Have these in hand when calling.

The clerk will tell you what steps to take based on your situation and give you an appointment.

Bring the originals of your official documents to the appointment.

不过，以这种形式的驾照，SAAQ授权可以在魁省开，但是SAAQ应该是没有权利授权在安省开的【虽然安省接受正式的魁省驾照】，不是很确定这样是否可以在安省合法开车？

换种说法，3个月后，安省交通厅MTO是否允许在Quebec居住的留学生以这种形式的驾照在安省道路上开车呢？

驾驶、驾照因为涉及到个人和他人安全、罚款、保险赔偿等等，很重要，驾驶技术和驾驶习惯一定要过关，同时对于各种规定也不可大意和想当然，还是万无一失、100%明确地好。

朋友住HULL，在OU上学，在OTTAWA工作，在OTTAWA被查。

对于安省车的E-TEST，我记得我们买的这辆车的车主好像自己做过安省的E-TEST，不过我们自己也做了魁省的E-TEST，是自己想做的还是保险要求得，记不清了，因为买了好几年了。
