请教 break flush and fuel purge

我的VAN 两年半新，开得不是太多。昨天去做oil change，工作人员检查后，告诉我要做 Break flush and fuel purge. 我不懂，给我解释，我还是没有明白，我们的第一辆车，好多年了，从没有做过这个。做这个break flush and fuel purge 价格是$199加税，是个不小的数目，我就告诉工作人员下次再做或我会打电话约个时间，工作人员的脸色马上严肃了，说"this is your vechiel. of course it is up to you. you decide" . 我的想法就是，我的车到底需不需要做。请教大家，关于我的车这种情况，应该做吗？ 做的话，是怎麽回事？

我看到一个帖子说了关于一种什麽cleaner,可以去除积碳。那麽对我的车的这种情况适用吗？

开了多少公里？两年半的车，开得又不是太多，应该不用做 brake fluid flushing。一般是在 50K 公里或 60K 公里以后应该做 brake fluid flushing，但也不是必须做。

The techinician said it is dirty which I doubt about it. I am not sure if I should use some kind of cleaner.

You cannot use cleaner for break fluid. The only way is to flush the break line. Break fluid will lose its efficiency slowly when it absorbs more moisture over time. But I would agree with you, it may not be necessary for a 2.5 year old vehicle.

My toyota car is 11 years old (130km) and never done any similar yet. It is still fine so far.
