华为要来了?

CFC首页焦点新闻说, 华为要在Kanata建研发中心了? 说是4月20号奠基仪式. 有人知道更多的消息吗? 在Kanata哪一片? 这个研发中心会多有大规模?

Anyway,对Ottawa, 对Kanata来说, 是个好消息

应该不是个好消息，市场就那么大，华为来了，其他公司可能要倒闭或者离开，工作机会会减少因为华为会要很少的人去干更多的事情。

Nortel? (Closed already)

Alcatel-Lucent? (I don't think it will bankrupt because Huawei will open an office in Ottawa)

Ericsson? ( It just bought part Nortel and won't bankrupt either. Ericsson along with Nokia still occupied the two top chairs in the Telecomm market).

Cisco? Maybe, but it doesn't have too many employees in Ottawa now. You can figure that out from their parking lot. Also, I don't think Huawei will have an IP network department here. Huawei cares more about the telecommunication market in Ottawa not IP.

Jupiter? Same as above. Jupiter also survives very well along with Cisco and Huawei.

So, I don't get your point at all. "华为会要很少的人去干更多的事情", it seems that Huawei has more than doubled people its employee in the past five years and still have the same amount of product lines as five years ago. How comes the "很少的人去干更多的事情".
