it was said the induction cooktop is the most energy efficient way of cooking. since the cook surface is not directly heated, it's easy to clean as well if you spill some food to the surface. but i am not sure about the reliability and how much it costs for maintenance.

白的好看。。。。就是1:要做出彩比较贵(大白板那是出租的CODO用的),2:后期的使用维护费老神了。

What's your size? 30" or 36" or bigger? :P
C.A. Paridis on Bank St. also carry Blue Star, but they are much more expensive than Costco.
Check with the Costco on Innes, they used to have a 30" standalone one for about $2k.

感觉电磁炉不太适合炒菜,贴近锅的附近温度特别高,再上一点温度就下降很快,温差大,不知道哪位有否同感?
 
白的特别不适合中国家庭,没几年要变黄,也显脏,除非你永远不炒菜,不蒸包子米饭,。我们家房子当年搬进去的时候,橱贵啥就是白的,很好看,住了几年真是难看了,黄白对比。我下一个计划就是要把厨房东西换成深色点的。
我觉得老外的很多装修风格不适合我们中国家庭,除非你吃喝拉撒的习惯完全西化。反正我是不会为了个房子委屈自己的胃的。
要不你就得话很多很多功夫老多钱去维护。

同意。白色橱柜是老外的流行款色,但是中国人家庭,除非家里有个特爱收拾,整天擦擦洗洗的,否则不适合。
