build plan/blue print in the city permit department

市政府有BUILDER报批的文件包括图纸,你可以去市政府把图纸调出来. 如果报批的和实际建设的不同你就更有证据了.

If there wasn't any update after your perchase date, then you should get what you pay for. Again allowing for small percent different.

How about Minto used the "reduced Nook and Retreat bedroom" plan and submitted it to City? The house was built according to this plan(reduced size one), but the sales center only presented me the standard one? Minto's lawyer said"You saw what you were buying"......
if so, where the meaning of APS(agreement of purchase and sales), why need inspections, etc.?

Does anyone know if the lawyer has build plan/blue print from the city permit department before the closing date? Does Lawyer show this document to the buyer at the closing date? I urgently need know if Minto use wrong floor plan to build the house.
Thanks

it seems that you didn't have the floor plan included in your purchase agreement. is there any model name in your purchase agreement? anywhere specified it's the normal elevation, not the reduce sized one?

personally i think you should talk with minto's management first before go to their lawyer. talk to their gm, ceo whoever the highest you can reach and express your concern and frustration, and they just might be able to help you to solve the issue in a way to your satisfaction.

also as ls mentioned, this should be discovered at frame walking stage, it's too late now for the pdi to discover the floor plan and structure errors. lesson to be learned to other home buyers.
