CBC News has confirmed that Eric Leighton died Thursday evening in hospital, following an explosion during an autoshop class at Mother Teresa Catholic High School.

我现在还在家里修产假，所以到今天才知道这个Eric是我同事的儿子，而且还在我facebook里。现在觉得好伤心，特别是才做上妈妈，想都不敢想，如果这事情发生在我儿子身上，我会怎么样。

昨天和儿子一起看电视新闻，看到画面上那孩子玩hockey的照片，我和儿子都伤心的无语。想着这个妈妈和我一样一定为儿子在冰场上加过油，一定也和儿子一起看过比赛欢呼过，此景不再，现在一切只能是永远的回忆，那孩子的妈一定心都碎了。。。
