人现在在国内， 渥太华这边突然要面试， 经过联系， 渥太华这边说要进行一个TELE CONFRENCE ，并且费用我付。 不知道什么是TELE CONFRENCE？ 请哪位有经验者告知。

They will provide you a bridge number & access code

Usually the chair person would setup a MeetMe conference. An conference access number and an access code would be provided to all attendants. The conference access number could be a North American 10 digits number or a toll free number, and the access code is a password to join the conference (Normally from 4 digits to 10 digits).

You would need call the access number from China. I guess the company is asking you cover the phone bill by yourself. It is very possible that they are not sure how much is going to cost. An easy way to de-risk.

TELE CONFRENCE 可以翻译成电话会议, 一般公司方是会议主持人, 被面试者是被邀请的客人. 公司会提供一个供客人拨打的免费号码和一个密码, 面试者只需要在指定的时间拨号, 听到提示后输入密码就行了. 注意不要提前太早拨,因为如果主持人还没有连线, 客人只会听到优美的音乐,却没法与主持人接通. 当然也不能太迟, 错后15-30秒应该就可以了.

费用应该是公司付, 不太可能让面试者付. 如果让面试者付的话,最好不要来这个公司了,就象村长说的, 太抠门了.

哪家公司没有个800toll free电话号码? 既然是toll free, 怎么又让楼主付费?

楼主人在国内，渥太华的公司一定会有1-800的号码但对楼主从中国打来一样还是国际长途。

问问这个公司的CALL-IN号码里是否有中国的400号码。如果没有自己买个卡算了，国内用卡挂过来比这里的卡更清晰。
