This was a first. My bet, drive will be hired back 6 months from now with salary adjustment dating from the day he was fired.

That would be enough punishment if he is not a first time offender.

Personally I don't believe the driver should be fired. He has 25 years of impeccable service record, and had lost both his mother and wife due to cancer in the last year.

I think he should be put on some kind of suspension, and undergo anger management training.

This does not mean that I condone his behaviors though.

这个司机被那个神经病吐了好几次口水（spit on)，才发作的。
后来才知道那货是 mental challenged.
如果是你，上班时被别人吐好几次口水， 你会不会抓狂？
我是肯定会的。

不是我编撰，我听上午580的talk show知道的。
这是主持人自己说的。though he was spit on a few times, but it's not the right way to treat the mentally challenged people.
那个小伙真吐口水了.
但是那个小伙有神经病，是有医生诊断的。
神经病有权做很多正常人不能做的事，你不服也没办法。
我还听过记者对那小伙的采访，他说：I constantly upset people around me, I realized it was my problem, guess that is what I am.
那司机当然不应该被FIRE。

Oops, 敢情是前几天被神经病吐了口水？我一打开RADIO就听见主持人的那句话，当然认为当事人干的。没想到有这摩多故事。不好意思。
