买Minto房子的朋友都做了哪些升级？

1。加大车库1尺。17尺4的车库最多停2辆小车，不方便。
2。全地板。

最不合算的就是让Minto做地板，太贵。

LS二位说的对。我家现在Monarch，也没让他全做地板。而是做好木楼梯。然后找为这个builder干木地板活的商家做配套地板。做好了再搬进去。

builder现在升级木楼梯， 是整体的一个piece, 而不是象以前， 一级一级的做， 当然便宜不少。 楼上的木地板全是DIY， 材料买的Made in Canada 的OAK, on sale, 5.99 a SQ, very good。 人工省了不少。 这里， 基本上是人工与材料对半。

by the way, if you upgarded the stairs, for spindle, choose the wood will be better looking. my firend got minto house, spent a lot of money for upgarding, but the minto offered metal spindle, too thin. ugly, i have to say. and he is not happy for that either after moving. any way, we both moved end of Jan 2011, now minto maybe has some new changes or new options for the upgarde!

啊，晚了。我家是monarch，全木楼梯配铁栏杆，我觉得还挺好看的啊。不单调。

个人感觉不同， 或builder 给的铁栏杆也许不一样， 反正， 我朋友家的铁栏杆我觉得太细， 不好看， 不如木头的。 总觉得， 铁栏杆要配大理石的楼梯， 才提气， 可惜鄙人囊中羞涩。 看别人的过眼瘾。

1。加大车库2'8"。17'4"+2'8"=20'的车库停俩车才方便。

地下室升高1尺才4千多，真的很便宜。

你得选那种黑色金属转花的，原来的Riverbend Model home 用的那种，非常漂亮。
