至于说收入，你应该能估计个八九不离十。

到了美国，尤其是南部，会觉得渥太华真的是太远，太靠北了。当然，在这里生活的村民也有不少的乐趣，尤其是夏天来临的时候（再熬３月）。

In some cases you may need more time than the employer has allowed to make a decision. What to do:

You may ask for an extension; the employer does not have to grant it.

Make sure you have a concrete and appropriate reason for asking for an extension. Expecting to hear soon from another employer with whom you've interviewed is a legitimate reason. If you just hoping to get more interviews, that's not a concreate reason.

Don’t wait until the last minute to ask for an extension; this looks like you don't think ahead and may indicate that you might behave the same way on the job.

Be tactful and diplomatic in your wording. You will need to explain your reasons to the employer. For example, if you have an upcoming, previously scheduled interview with another employer, you may explain that it is important to you to keep your commitment to the other employer, and that in order to make the best decision, you need to attend the other interview.

总的来说， 找理由不是不可以， 但是要灵活掌握。我觉得你老公应该自己做决定要不要接受或者要求延迟那个offer.

small tip， 如果让你飞过去面试并且负担机票和旅馆费的是几十或者几百个人的小公司， 他们９０％是要给你firm offer的。也就是说， 如果你希望， 你还可以针对他们的offer谈谈价钱， 当然这总是有风险的。

最主要的因素比较， follow your heart! 湾区说大不大， 说小不小， 其实干你自己手头活的圈子就那么大。

实话实说，先感谢他的Offer, 再告诉他还有几个机会，会在这几个机会比较之后，再多少时间内做出决定。当然时间不能太长，2，3个星期还算合理。这样做光明磊落，人家也能理解，而且说明你还是比较抢手的。

如果公司等两、三个星期后结果是人不去了，公司不得又要折腾找人，难道再等2、3个星期？即使人去，除非找工作的人现在失业，一般也要2个星期给现公司通知一声吧，这样1个多月可能就过去了。

如果接到offer，想一两天就决定最好。去就去，不去就不去！

Depends how badly they want you. They can wait half year for a CEO or a CTO for sure.

they can give you half year or one year before you start your work there. i don't think they can give you half year or one year to decide if you are joining them or not.

the case you're talking about might be, you decided not to join them at beginning, but they persuade you for half year or one year then you decide to join them

这还是其次的，我主要就是不放心Ottawa这边，将来再丢工作，工作机会太少了。
不过去湾区那边面试真是要人命啊，上次飞过去，一个公司从上午9点到下午3点多，6，7个人轮番上阵。第二天再去另外一个公司接着面。这次飞过去又要面3家，有一天从上午8点一直排到下午6点。太累了。

这很正常呀， 基本上都是这样。我有一次是同一个职位面试了两天，见了18个人。
