帮您google了一下，是有5年这个说法，叫做"Five-year Sponsorship Bar for persons who were sponsored to come to Canada as a spouse or partner"，但是指靠结婚过来的新移民在取得永久居民的身份后的5年之内不能担保新的配偶移民过来。
“Effective March 2, sponsored spouses or partners are ineligible to sponsor a new spouse or partner for five years from the day that they are granted permanent residence status in Canada.”


被结婚担保过来的人，在获得合法身份后，担保人和被担保人必须共同生活两年。
“Under the new proposal, now open for further public input, a spouse or partner being sponsored by a Canadian or permanent resident would be required to live together with their sponsor in a legitimate relationship for two years following receipt of their permanent resident status in Canada.”
