本国发行量最大的报纸多伦多星报Toronto Star，正准备为所属网站，推出收费牆Paywall模式。多伦多星报将于明年推出网上订阅服务，届时读者要付费才能够阅读网上的新闻。


今年较早前，拥有国家邮报National Post的Postmedia传媒集团旗下日报的网上版，已经展开收费牆模式；而环球邮报Global and Mail，上个星期已经开始这样做。

OTTAWA CITIZEN is already trying to do so. I've not been to their website lately. It's their right/choice to do so. But I'm sure nobody will miss them. They will lose their ads income soon.
