The iPhone 4S was simple: a single model covered the whole world. The iPhone 5 comes in two models, however, with three potentially significant variants based on activation. The iPhone 4S can be used worldwide; the iPhone 5 can too, but not for the fast LTE networking flavor everywhere you go.

Currently all Chinese networks only supports TD-LTE (Time Division), while all iphone5 sold in NA and Europe are FD-LTE, so it’s probably better to buy iphone5 in China for optimal capability.

您得查查中国的运营商３G（WCDMA）跑在什么频带上，如果在IPHONE５的频带范围内，就能用。LTE也是样。LTE的不同FLAVOR应该是指FDD和TDD。IPHONE５应该两者都支持，不过现在市售的应该只支持FDD。其实WCDMA也有TD－SCDMA FLAVOR，主要由中国推动，但是市场不大。

能用， NANO SIM 国内几个公司都有，自带充电接头是100－240v的， 就是别买有锁版的。
