收费不收费，不知道，没试过。

The good: The Google Chromecast is a dirt-cheap wireless video dongle that streams Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Google Music, and HBO Go to your TV using Android or iOS tablets as remotes, with Android users also getting access to Google Movies & TV. Its small size hides neatly behind your TV and makes it easy to take with you when traveling.
The bad: The beta screen-mirroring feature won't work as well as you want it to, so you're largely limited to the supported apps. The lack of a dedicated remote also means you always need a smartphone or tablet nearby. And for $15 more, you can get a Roku box with many more channels and an onscreen interface for a more traditional TV experience.
The bottom line: Google's $35 Chromecast stick is a cheap and easy way to add streaming video and music to your TV, but it still isn't as fully featured as similarly priced Roku boxes.

小米盒子二代很好的东西，有大量中文节目，但是只是号称高清，效果一般。看着码率就低，但是已经很完美了， 去淘宝搜，比管价高一点点就可以买到。

remote已经足够多，现在任何一个新产品不能用手机或者pad控制应该属于败笔

要是没有 智能手机，没有PAD捏？ 比如家里有老人来的，要看电视，你不能再给他们买个 PAD 当遥控器吧？

BTW， ROKU 带遥控器。也带手机，PAD 应用，当遥控器

目前我发现的 roku 的优点：
1. v.netstartv.com 的节目 都可以看！
2. 所有的 youtube 节目。 你可以编播放列表看。
3. 可以自己架设个 video server, 小范围地跟朋友欣赏（跟看 netflix 一样）
多个播放记录，下次播放时接着播。

roku可以用苹果手机遥控马？用苹果手机遥控可以看美剧吗？迷糊中

原则是，你如果看国产剧，国产源，还有RMVB的节目，一定要买国产的盒子，老外的盒子对RMVB的支持几乎=0。
你如果看美剧，看netflix，看MKV，看youtube，hulu什么的，直接就ATV ，chromecast或者roku之类的，这些国产的支持都不行。

没用过Roku，不行你到kijiji搞个二手的试试。买ATV的一个好处，比较省心，我这么认为，老实巴交看节目，而不是折腾这个硬件那个越狱，这个破解，那个补丁的。
